Kung Fu exercises to cure my jetlag

In late March, I suffered from my first jetlag this year when I went to Greece for two weeks. Naturally, my body got used to the time and when I came home, I had another jetlag. I recovered after a week or so but the following week, I went to Canada for another two weeks. Again I had to recover from that jetlag and then I came home.

You may wonder how aeroplane pilots take it. But it isn't so bad for them because they fly to a destination and do not stay there long enough to get used to the new time zone. They usually fly home the next day or a couple of days later. The body then simply readjusts to the original time zone without much difficulty because it has no time to fully adjust to the foreign time zone. The recovery is a lot quicker. But if you keep on going to a vastly different time zone and stay there for two weeks, return home for two weeks and go to the direct opposite end of the globe and again stay there for two weeks before coming home, the body adjusts and readjusts repeatedly to the different zones and when you are finally home, the consequence can be quite severe.

This is precisely what I'm feeling now. And I don't seem able to readjust back to my current time zone.

I am determined today not to fall asleep when it's not time for me to sleep. Every time I feel drowsy, I do the traditional Wushu Ying-energy exercises which purportedly will realign my internal clock. So far, it has worked. Whenever I feel drowsy, I don't make the same mistake of telling myself that I would only lie down on the sofa for a few minutes. That always meant sleeping for hours. I simply do the exercises and I instantly feel quite awake.

What I am going to post below will be a first - something not seen before in more than 4,000 years of Chinese civilisation: Kung Fu exercises done in the nude. LOL

    1. Thanks! You are very kind. I'm not at all artistic. The light effect was not intended. I almost deleted the photo because I thought it was too dark. It was just too bright outside in the hot tropical afternoon and it overpowered the light in my room.
