One of the problems I have with taking pics of myself with the self timer is I can't get the particular pic that I want. I have taken photos of me feeding my fish but I usually can't get my fish in the photo. My previous koi fish were a lot friendlier. They would be out on the surface for a long time. But my current fish are extremely shy. There are six of them but they only appear on the surface for a split second before splashing some water on my feet and disappearing into the depths.
But I managed to catch two of them in this pic. How did I do it?
It's really quite simple. I set my camera to the sports mode and make it take a pic every single second. Of course I have dozens of photos that show me alone without my fish but these can be got rid of later. And there are sure to be a few with the fish in the pics. This is one of them.
This trick is very useful when you are doing a jump shot except that you may have to set the camera to take a pic every 0.4 second or even less. OK, now you know all my secrets. LOL.

More filming and I'm not even an actor!
Last Thursday, I went for more filming for a naturist documentary. The only other naturist who was supposed to turn up for filming decided to be totally uncontactable and so I had more role to play since I'm the only naturist in the film.
I have said before that my country is probably the most conservative country in the world except for Muslim countries which belong to a different category altogether - they go ballistic at the mere report of a single naked person. But the fact that the film producers could not even find another naturist who isn't in the closet does show how terribly conservative my country is.
Here are the photos taken at the filming last Thursday:
The producers wanted to re-enact what I normally do naked such as gardening. But I don't normally water my trees with a watering can; I use a garden hose. But they couldn't do that in the studio.
It's the countless repeats that are exhausting.
And the waiting between sets when the props are being set up.

My Ten-Year Challenge
We naturists are people who love our bodies for what they are, imperfections and all. As one grows old, it's natural to have marks of ageing. If you are naturally deceptive, you will probably want to reverse the marks of ageing with Botox and other invasive therapies. But these are all poisonous and what's the good of them apart from deceiving people into thinking you don't look like what you really do? I've never applied anything on my face and my greying hair has never touched a drop of dye and why should I go through any of these chemical transformations?
The desire to look young is an overshoot of our evolutionary need to get hitched and to propagate our genes. The primordial ape looks for a young woman to impregnate because she can best produce babies and the primordial female ape looks for a young man from whom she can be sure to receive the best quality sperm in order to continue her genes. It's silly to let this genetic need overshoot into an age when we no longer need to look for a mate or when our family is complete. And it's downright dangerous if we allow ourselves to be operated on or injected with Botox and other poisonous substances (Botox is a poison that can kill you instantly if it enters your bloodstream) and to apply toxic chemicals on our hair which will no doubt seep into our heads.
A former classmate of mine once met me at a class reunion and he took a selfie with me. He then proceeded to redo his face and mine on an app in his phone so that we would look young. I told him to leave my face alone in the photo but he did it anyway and he posted it online. He said all his postings had to look good and he was averse to the thought of ageing. I felt very sorry for him because he was balding and I think he used some app to hide his baldness. This is a classic case of a lack of body acceptance.
We are sometimes fat, sometimes thin but we always look older and older and that's only natural. Why anyone would try to hide that fact is beyond me. No frog wants to look like a tadpole, I'm sure.
To do the Ten-Year Challenge, I had to look for a photo taken of me in 2009. I found one taken on 12 June 2009 and the other photo was taken two days ago. If you are repulsed because you are too used to looking at celebrities, my advice is that you should mix more with normal honest non-deceptive humans who don't pile poison on themselves just to create a false image.

Thuggery
I don't normally keep a beard or a moustache. The presence of hair on my face makes me feel distinctly uncomfortable. My wife thinks I look like a thug when I don't shave for a few days. I have not really left my face unshaved for more than 3 or 4 days. This pic was taken yesterday afternoon when I was at my most thuggish.
But I think I am one of those people who don't grow very much hair on the face or on other parts of the body. That works well for me. I have a friend who is even more hairless. He doesn't even have to shave regularly.

My New Blog on my Naturist Films.
After last week's filming, I now feel sufficiently motivated and inspired to produce my own films. I just did some serious shooting this afternoon and it's soon time to stitch the clips together with as much artistry as I can manage.
What you will see is a new genre of high-quality artistic films where the producer, director and cameraman are all one and the same person. And probably the actor too.
I've started a new blog for this. But I will need a lot of time to get my film ready. Here's the link:

The first film I posted in this new blog is just something that Google Photos generated for me from my photo album. My artistic film which was shot this afternoon has to be worked on slowly. I've got to wait for my Muse to inspire me and once it's ready, I will post it and boy, I expect it will be snatched from me and shown at Cannes. Be patient, folksies!!!

Almost fully recovered.
Except for my coughing which isn't really all that serious, I am as good as having fully recovered from my flu and fever which I contracted just before Christmas. Here's a pic taken this afternoon as I went round killing mosquito larvae with BTI pellets. I may feel OK but I will postpone my gym workouts to the next week. It's always good not to overexert oneself after an illness.

Film on naturism, Part 2
Some of my readers have written to me to ask if I could post more photos that I have from the film that I mentioned in my previous blog post. As one of you pointed out, this is my photo diary. So here are more photos.
Although I am open about my own nudity, I try to be sensitive to others who may not want their faces to appear next to someone naked. So whatever photos I will post here will be photos where the faces of other people do not feature whenever I'm naked.
The studio was very cold and while waiting for them to straighten up the props and tidy things up, I tried to keep myself warm.
I love the white background because my tan looks more pronounced here than in all my other photos on this blog. Compare these photos with the restaurant photos above.

The above pics were taken at a restaurant.

Film on naturism
When I was asked to help a group with questions on naturism, I was happy to oblige. I'm always delighted to explain naturism to anyone who has questions about it. Little did I know then that answering a series of questions would lead to my appearing in a film on naturism. Apparently the group searched through the length and breadth of the entire country and they could not find anyone who was willing to appear nude in a film with their faces shown, except of course, me. The very few naturists in my country are all hidden deep in the closet.
Anyway, acting is not exactly my cup of tea and I found this week exhausting and boy, am I glad the filming is now over. But I must say that however averse I may be to even the simplest form of acting, no self-respecting selfie addict can really complain about being repeatedly photographed and filmed. LOL

Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year!!!
This is the first pic I took in 2019. There's nothing festive about this but it's at least really a New Year pic. Here's wishing all naturists and all my readers a Happy and Splendid 2019. May naturism be better understood by the rest of the world. I sincerely believe that to understand naturism is to approve of naturism.
